Favorite Watches #7

Welcome back to another edition of “favorite watches” where I take you through my current favorite timepieces and all the details you need to know about them including prices and where to get them.

These are my current top 3 watches:

1) Linde Werdelin 3-Timer Nord

This piece has just been released a couple of weeks ago and is from one of my favorite brands. I used to always go to their booth at Baselworld and check out the novelties. Really amazing brand. What I like about this particular piece is the amazing dial. It’s a blue fumé dial resembling the blue colours of the north sea. It has a sandblasted case which is a first for this collection. The “3 Timer” model line is an updated collection from the “Biformeter” which was originally launched in 2009. The new “3 Timer” now has a new textured dial emulating the lines of longitude and latitude circles of our globe and a GMT function with a 24 hour turning bezel.

2) Audemars Piguet Code 11.59

I know, I know, you don’t like the Code 11.59, but hear me out on this one. With this collection AP aspires to target a younger audience and to open up new potential. Despite the rough start of the collection back in 2019 – in 2020 it got updated with sweet new dial colours which in my opinion add a nice style touch to the range and really compliment the case design. Still it remains a watch that isn’t on top of ones mind when thinking about Audemars Piguet. Nevertheless, I encourage you to head on over to you nearest boutique to check it out.

3) Jaquet Droz Grand Seconde Off-Centered Onyx

I’m a big fan of minimalism and love watches that are a bit different. So that being said the Jaquet Droz Grand Seconde Off-Centered ticks off all my boxes. In comes in two sizes 43mm and 39mm although I do prefer the 39mm case size due to my small wrist. It definitely is a watch I’d love to check out and I’m pretty sure it can easily be paired with colourful straps.
