It’s been a while since I last published my current watch crushes.
Here are my current top 3 watches:
The Royal Oak is a real classic. It’s been on my list for a long time now. I never had the chance to get one though, since it is quite hard to find. Currently Audemars only offers a 41mm, but I’m really into the older version in 39mm because the size fits my wrist better than the bigger one. The Royal Oak is one of the most luxurious sports watches and definitely a modern classic.
My favourite version is the one with the white dial. A really clean and subtle appearance.
2) Panerai Luminor Submersible PAM1024
A fantastic and unique looking divers watch. You don’t see this one everyday. For most people it might be too big and too chunky. With a 44mm diameter it is on of the bigger watches. I have always been drawn to Panerai watches, ever since being able to work with the legend himself “Angelo Bonati”, who unfortunately resigned this year.
One of the most iconic watches I have ever had the opportunity to get my hands on. A fully skeletonised movement with a gravity module that ensures the horizontal positioning off the regulating module. With a price point at around 100k$ it’s definitely a watch for the more serious watch collectors. Nonetheless it is a watch like no other and I was lucky to be able to try it during Baselworld 2018.
Let me know what you think about these 3 watches 🙂
