Carl Suchy – The emperor’s watch of choice

In this episode my friends at Carl Suchy & Söhne were kind enough to lend me 2 of their watches for me to review and check out. Carl Suchy is an old Austrian watchmaking brand which dates back to 1822 and was revived in 2016. The brand was well-known back in the 19th century due to its famous clients and it catering to the likes of the Austro-Hungarian royal court. Even the Emperor Franz Joseph I. favored the watches. Since 2016 the brand has taken its heritage and included a very unique and compelling design language – embracing Viennese elegance and minimalism.
