Breitling’s ECONYL® NATO’s

We need more colour on our wrists!

By now most of you know that I am the watch stylist and a fan of coloured watch straps and NATO’s. A while ago I had the pleasure of testing Breitling’s ECONYL® NATO straps.

These NATO straps have been created by recycled nylon wast, one source of which is fishing nets from the world’s oceans, in cooperation with the brand Outerknown and it’s signature ECONYL® yarn. Available in blue with dark blue stripes and lining, light blue with dark blue stripes and lining, yellow with orange stripes and lining, gray with blackstripes and lining, red with black stripes and lining, and green with black stripes and lining. And, with four different size options ranging from 18 mm to 24 mm, there is an Outerknown ECONYL® yarn NATO strap perfectly suited to every Breitling watch.

Overall my feedback on the straps is very positiv. They are very comfortable and feel good on the wrist. The colours are crisp and work well with my SuperOcean Heritage 57 Rainbow.

Price 140€

I was very surprised about the look and how they feel on my wrist. My favorite is definitely the red NATO.

Which colour do you prefer?

Cheers Niko
